Books by the Numbers Challenge 2008 (hosted by KateKintail)
In this challenge, you must release book(s) with a certain number in the title during the month corresponding to that number. To make it a little more challenging, to officially "win" this whole challenge, you must release exactly that number of books in that month (no more, no less). So during January, you would release only ONE book with the number ONE in the title. In February, release TWO books with the number TWO.... In December, release TWELVE books during the month with the number TWELVE in the title.

What counts:
*Numbers (1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12)
*Numbers part of other numbers (1984 could be used during January, September, August, or April; 2010: A Space Odyssey could be released during February, January, or October)
*Words (One, Two, Three, etc.)
*Plural words (Ones, Twos, Threes, etc.)
*Homophones (Won, To, Too, For, Ate, etc.)
*Counts (First, Second, Third, 1st, 2nd, 3rd, etc.)
*Sets (Solo, Duo, Trio, Quartet, Dozen, etc.)
*Roman Numerals (I, II, III, IV, V, VI, VII, VIII, IX, X, XI, XII)
*Books in a series ONLY IF the number is printed on the front cover or spine (Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix- Year 5, Prince Caspian- Book 2 in the Chronicles of Narnia, etc.)
*Books of a certain type that are numbered ONLY IF the number is printed on the front cover or spine (Star Trek #7, Nancy Drew #30, etc.)
What doesn't count:
*Orders (Once, Twice, Last, etc.)
*Numbers that are not consecutive (2010: A Space Odyssey cannot be used for December as there is a 2 and a 1 but not a 12)
*Backwards numbers (The 21 Irrefutable Laws Of Leadership cannot be used for December)
*Books in series where the number does NOT appear on the front cover or spine
*Words that are part of larger words (Together, Wonderland, Fortune, Fourteen, Forty, Thousand, etc.)
*Month names (January, February, etc.)
*Numbers mentioned in the text descriptions or taglines of books (with the exception being a line saying it's book #X of a series)
Other rules:
*Only wild releases count. No controlled/mailed/direct releases
*Releases can absolutely overlap with other challenges
*Multiple copies of the same book count so long the book fits the challenge (You can release 4 copies of 1984 in April or 2 copies of 1984 in April and a third copy in August, etc.)
*OBCZ releases count
*Please make only ONE post per month with the month's name in the Subject line. List all the releases for that month listed within. You can edit that post throughout the month or just keep track on your own and post at the end of the month.
*Release only the specified number of books during a month. If you release more than one book in January with one in the title, it won't count for this challenge, for example. You should have a total of 78 book releases for the year to win!
*Post your catches as you get them; they don't count for points but it's great to share the news of catches.
*Books in any language are welcome so long as all of the above rules are followed; as I don't speak all the world languages, you're on the honor system.
*Children's books are perfectly fine
